Our Mission

Safety is extremely important for compliance and productivity in today's workplaces. We have been training and promoting safety for over 30 years. Our mission is to deliver professional, knowledgeable, personable service, and hands-on training that is second to none!

Hannah Health & Safety Training offers a wide range of on-site, workplace safety training from, WHMIS/GHS, New Worker Awareness, Supervisor Training, Working at Heights (CPO Approved Training Provider) , Working at Heights-Industrial, Confined Space, to Surface Miner Common Core Training (MTCU).


We also provide training for Fork Lift(s), Genie Boom, Scissor Lift, Telehandler,0-8 Ton Crane, and Chain Saw Safety. See our Training & Services page(s) for more information and a full list of what we offer.

Mike Hannah

Lead Trainer

With over 30 years of experience, Mike is a highly sought-after safety professional. His engaging instructional techniques get him rave reviews and keep his clients loyal.

Mike has enjoyed careers as a Safety Manager, Safety Coordinator, and Workplace Safety Trainer. His experience spans several industries including construction, agriculture, corporate, forestry, and mining.

Mike has also worked with businesses and government agencies at the provincial and federal level. His knowledge of regulations and legislation allow him to develop policies and procedures that meet:

     • Ministry of Labour standards,
     • ISN standards (International Safety Network), and
     • ISO 18001 standards (International Organization for Standardization).

Mike also has years of experience and training in Emergency Response and has Federal certification in Emergency Management.

His goal is to change the safety culture with the belief that ; "Everyone deserves the right to go home at the end of the day."

Some of Mike’s achievements were recognized in Health and Safety Magazine (June 2013) and the Lanark Era (November 2021)


Nancy Hannah

Office Manager/Administrator

Nancy is a partner and a driving force at Hannah Health and Safety.

Nancy has a strong background in customer service and client retention. For over 10 years, she has made sure every Hannah Health and Safety client is completely satisfied with their experience. She makes it her priority to serve every client in a professional and timely manner.
