Aerial Lift Training (Genie Boom)

Aerial lift training is MANDATORY for workers who are authorized to operate an elevated work platform. In this course, participants will receive training on safe operation and maintenance procedures for Genie Booms.

This course can be offered with Scissor Lift Operation at a discount rate.

    ● Record of training

Course Content

Course Prerequisites

To take this course, participants must have current certification in one of the following:

Working at Heights for Construction
OR
Industrial Fall Protection

This course includes a practical and a classroom component. Participants will receive training and be evaluated on the following topics:

● Regulations
● Pre-operation checklist/Inspection
● Safe operating procedures
● Lift and load limitations
● Rescue plans
● Risks and hazards
● Roles and responsibilities

Certification is valid for three years
