Spill Response Training

Spill response training is MANDATORY if there is a threat of hazardous spills in the workplace. Participants will receive training on hazards and proper safety procedures to assist in the prevention, response, and recovery of spills.

Course Content

This course includes a practical and a classroom component. Participants will receive training and be evaluated on the following topics:

● Roles and responsibilities
● Environmental risks
● Hazards
● Safe procedures and best practices
● Personal protective equipment (PPE)
● Spill kits
● Disposal

Evaluation

● Written quiz
● Practical evaluation

Deliverables

    ● Laminated wallet card
    ● Record of training
