Working at Heights Construction PRO#35061(Chief Prevention Officer Approved)
We are a Chief Prevention Officer Approved Training Provider for Working at Heights. PRO#35061
The Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requires that employers provide MANDATORY Working from Heights training to those who are at risk of falling from heights of three meters or more. Participants will receive required knowledge about fall hazards and general safety practices to work safely at heights. Working at Heights must be recertified every 3 years.
Public dates also offered.

Course Content
Working from Heights for Construction is offered in two modules, theory and practical. Participants must complete both modules to receive certification. A passing grade of 75% must be achieved.
The following topics will be taught and evaluated:
● Hazards & risks
● Hierarchy of controls
● Safe work plans
● Guardrails, bump lines
● Limitations, application, and storage of different fall protection systems
● Calculating fall distances
● How to inspect equipment, don and doff a harness, and maintain 100% tie-off
● Anchors, lifelines, lanyards, harnesses
● Selecting equipment
● Rescue plans
Participants will also apply their knowledge hands-on in a supervised environment.
Related Courses:
Students are required to complete the Working at Heights-Refresher PRO#35061 course every three years.
